List announced! Huilai County successfully selected!

China Association for Science and Technology and Guangdong Provincial Association for Science and Technology had announced the second batch list of National Demonstration Units for Science Popularization in 2021-2025, Huilai county was included into the list.

Since this year, Huilai county has gradually pushed forward the science popularization and set up a corresponding work team, as well as basic science popularization units throughout 18 towns, which has achieved full coverage in the whole county. The county hosted “Innovation China” Online Course for Huilai’s Enterprises and Academician Symposium, to accelerate green development of Huilai’s industries and rural revitalization. The county submitted application to China Association for Science and Technology to make purchase of the Type-II science popularization truck for solving the lack of science popularization facilities among villages, communities and schools. The county also carried out Huilai’s Countryside Supporting Tour for Guangdong Scientific and Technical Workers, these workers went to Huilai’s production enterprises and provided practical instructions and suggestions to support the modern rural revitalization.

Since China Association for Science and Technology launched a new round of applying for national demonstration unit for science popularization, Huilai county has attached great importance to the upcoming approval procedure.

Huilai county was included into the second batch list of National Demonstration Units for Science Popularization in 2021-2025, has greatly encouraged county’s science popularization works to reach a new height, and further attract scientific and technical works into innovative development and rural revitalization. It has also improve the scientific quality of Huilai people and speed up the pace of economic and social development.
